This Round Pocket Door Tubular Lock is a passage set, meaning it neither latches nor locks. That piece that looks like a latch is actually a pop-out edge pull that can be ejected by the press of a finger. The edge pull is used to help retrieve the door from the pocket, giving you something to grasp. The Round Passage Pocket Door Hardware Set comes packaged with a specialty strike plate that is raised slightly in the middle to automatically retract the edge pull so your sliding door will close freely and fully.
