OMNIA PVD finishes use Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) to create a finish highly resistant to the effects of weather and normal use. For OMNIA products purchased with PVD finishes, OMNIA warranties the finish against abnormalities in materials and workmanship, tarnishing, flaking, or pitting for the Lifetime of the applicable product for the duration that the original owner inhabits the residence in which the product was originally installed.

Although OMNIA PVD finishes are highly resistant to the effects of weather and normal use, they are not indestructible. Periodic cleaning and maintenance is required; or a build-up may occur which may darken the finish or create a haze on the finish. If a haze or darkening of the finish occurs, this is not considered covered under the lifetime warranty. OMNIA PVD finishes can be maintained simply by wiping with a soft cloth and glass cleaner. For the best long term results, use a non-abrasive metal polish such as carnauba car wax. Rubbing alcohol may also be used to clean the surface of PVD finishes. DO NOT use metal polishes that contain abrasives.
