This filler plate allows for the conversion from an 86 cut out (mortise lock) to a 161 cut out (standard tube latch).

Just remove the old Mortise Lock box. Screw the filler plate into the doors edge existing mortise lock holes. You can now install a standard latch or deadbolt latch.
